FAQs

Q: Do you take custom order requests or commissions?
A: Not at this time, maybe in the future when I can handle the larger capacity of projects.

Q: What metal do you use in your jewelry?
A: I mainly use sterling silver and fine silver for bezels/embellishments. Some pieces are used creating brass or copper, but the product description will specify which each piece is made from.

Q: Do you offer doing repairs, remodeling or resizing?
A: No, I do not offer any of these services.

Q: How do I check my ring size?
A: Before purchasing you can either go to a local jeweler to get sized or order a simple tool online at amazon. Like this or this.

Q: What is a hallmark and maker's mark?
A: Sterling Silver pieces will have a 925 stamped on the back. This indicates high-quality sterling silver which is made of 92.5% of silver and 7.5% of copper alloy. The maker’s mark “TRB” will also be on the back, which is essentially my signature of all The Regal Boar pieces.

Q: Do you ship to Canada or internationally?
A: At this time I do not.

Q: Can I add a gift message to my purchase?
A: If your order is a gift I can add handwritten messages to the packaging at no extra cost.

Q: Can I change the length of the chain that a pendant comes with?
A: The chain length will be specified in the product description. If you would like a different length please contact me within 24 hours of completing the order. It depends on what other lengths/styles that I have in stock.

Q: Why does jewelry and stones look different then the piece in the photo?
A: Due to the nature of making items by hand each piece has some slight variations and can vary from piece to piece. Some gemstones have two looks, what they look like inside and outside in natural light. When completing product photography and touch ups I do not boost any saturation or vibrance levels, as to not be deceiving with the look of the stones.

Q: What is Keum Boo?
A: An ancient and  traditional Korean metalworking technique that involves the fusion of thin sheets of pure gold to the surface of silver or other metals, typically through the application of heat and pressure. This process creates a beautiful and intricate bonding of gold onto the base metal, resulting in stunning decorative patterns and designs.

Q: What is a bail?
A: A component used to attach a pendant, charm, or other ornament to a necklace or chain. It is typically a small loop, ring, or clasp-like piece, often positioned at the top of the pendant, allowing the pendant to hang securely while still allowing movement. Bails can be plain or decorative and may be fixed (non-removable) or hinged for versatility.
